Brett grew up in Detroit Michigan and graduated from Bishop Gallagher High School. His senior year he had a 1.12 ERA, 120 k's and was named 1st team all state.
He was drafted in the 16th round by the Seattle Mariners in 1992 out of Bishop Gallagher High School at 17 years old.

Coach Nick Black comes to us with an extensive playing history and coaching background and leads team instruction, hitting instruction, and group catching instruction.
Nick is currently an head coach for St Clair High School. Also past assistant coach at SC4 college. Over the years, Nick has been involved in coaching in many facets, through high school baseball, club summer baseball, professional baseball, and now currently college baseball.
Nick has been a staple in the Michigan baseball community since 2008.
Nick competed at Grand Rapids CC in 2013 where he competed for Hall of Fame Coach Mike Cupples. Nick was a Freshman All American in 2013 after compiling a .400 batting average on the season and helping lead his team to a 7th place finish in the NJCAA World Series in Enid, Oklahoma. In 2013 at Grand Rapids CC, Nick was also honored as a First Team All MCCAA pick, and a First Team All Region 12 pick. In 2014 at Grand Rapids CC, Nick led the team with a .386 batting average as well as leading them to an NJCAA tournament opening round bid in Battle Creek, Michigan. At the conclusion of the 2014 season, Nick was again honored as a First Team All MCCAA pick, and a First Team All Region 12 selection.
Nick transferred to Northwood University in West Palm Beach, Florida to compete during the 2015 season. At Northwood University West Palm Beach – Nick competed for Jeremy Kennedy (now Loyola – New Orleans Head Coach), who is one of the winningest NAIA coaches in the country. Nick was a part of the #2 ranked team in the country, with standout victories against Nova Southeastern, Eckerd, and Palm Beach Atlantic. Nick helped the team to an NAIA World Series opening round appearance in Montgomery, Alabama.
After the closure of Northwood University – West Palm Beach in 2015, Nick transferred to Northwood University in Midland, Michigan in 2016. Nick played for now Central Michigan University Head Coach Jordan Bischel. Nick completed the 2016 season helping springboard Northwood to the successes it is still seeing today.

Jeremy Dunford is a Macomb County native with a strong family background in playing and coaching the game of baseball and softball. Jeremy Dunford is a Macomb County native with a strong family background in playing and coaching the game of baseball and softball. Jeremy is one of many to leave a great mark and tradition at Lanse Creuse North, where he was a three sport varsity athlete in baseball, football and swimming. Jeremy started behind the plate for the Crusaders for his whole career at North before moving on. After a successful career, he earned a full scholarship to play at Jackson Community College for legendary coach Rick Smith. Helping the team and Coach Smith have the best season in school history. One year at the JUCO level, Jeremy transferred to play in Iowa at Waldorf University for Cape Cod coach, Chad Gassman. Graduating with a bachelor degree of kinesiology and moving back to Macomb County Jeremy begun coaching players from several organizations and along with coaching at Cardinal Mooney in Marine City. Within the past 8 years several players have gone on to play at the collegiate level with his help and guidance.
With wanting to give back to the youth and baseball community that help groom him into the person he is today.
